The Walking Dead - Michelin man in a well ripped apart

That's right. The Walking Dead seems to be limited to a solitary scene each episode which reminds you about the theme. The last episode was the Walker mob scene at the school. The episode before was the church scene, and before that, the highway parade of walkers. In this weeks episode, we found the Michelin Man In The Well scene. The Michelin man was ripped apart and smashed like a pumpkin. Now I realize that the go ahead for a season 2 and season 3 has tamed the writing and directing down to a soap opera style of show, but this is too boring. Where's the high intensity we saw in season one?
