Snowbound Sorrow

 Snowbound Sorrow

Amidst a sunday afternoon,
looking out the window,
I hear a distant tune,
coming from tomorrow,
reminding me of what will soon,
erase my snowbound sorrow,
spring is about to bloom,
and baseball is to follow,
all this snow and winter gloom,
will fade away and mellow,
as pitchers and catchers resume,
and loosen up their elbows,
yes I hear that distant tune,
it's coming from tomorrow,
when Pedro stands atop that dune,
and readies his pitch to throw,
the Let's Go Met's chant will resume,
that's the tune you know,
yes spring is about to bloom,
and erase my snowbound sorrow

I liked your mets poem much better although this one is pretty good. It just looks like you ran out of rhymes and had to repeat same words.

Regarding Pedro, you better hope his toe is feeling better Mark.

I'm picking the Yankee's to win this years world series. Their offensive statistics will be dominating this baseball season.

I like your sports news and baseball news posts. They are convenient. I also like your sports quiz and baseball poll.

I'll be sure to stop back on your baseball forum and see how you are making out.

I suggest you sell baseball tickets to Red Sox Yankees games, or to Cubs whitesox games, or to Met's Braves games on the side. You may make a little commission on the side while blogging about baseball.
